REAL TALK – with Brett Harvey.  Saturday 24 August 9am-11am.  

It’s no secret that the issue of pornography and sexual addictions has exploded over recent years with the advancement of the internet and increased easy access to explicit material.  In this presentation, Brett Harvey from Taima Korero will talk about the effect of pornography on our minds and attitudes, how it’s impacting expectations in relationships, and how today’s porn differs from 30 years ago and the challenges that are facing especially our young people that we need to be aware of.  If yourself or someone you know has been struggling in this area, Brett will be also sharing keys to overcome and find victory, and how we can support friends and family who are struggling in this area too.  This will be an incredibly empowering and practical seminar, and we’d encourage everyone and anyone to attend.

Date & Time: Saturday 24th August 9am-11am (with short break for complimentary morning tea)

Location: The River Christian Church, 69 Ben Lomond Crescent, Pakuranga

Price:

• $10 student (note this event is suitable for ages 16+)
• $15 adult
• $25 couple
• $10 per child for kids programme (0-12 years old).  A parent must be attending the event and registrations for the kid’s programme will close on Thursday 22nd August.  There will be no door sales for the kids programme on the morning.
